Peter is the Chief Credit Officer and is responsible for the credit underwriting of each of the anchor tenants in ACRE’s acquisitions.  In particular, Peter determines the risk levels acceptable in our preferred development and expansion programs with tenants in or considering ACRE’s development and acquisition programs. 

Peter maintains a private investment holding company and prior to his time at ACRE, Peter spent six years as the Head of Credit for Paramount Specialty Finance and over a decade at Credit Suisse in New York and Singapore, managing $6 billion within a larger $75 billion credit portfolio. He also worked in the Distressed, Restructuring, and Workout Group, where he was responsible for actively managing $3 billion in distressed and defaulted loan positions.

Peter began his career in London as a fixed income analyst with Mitsubishi UFJ, focusing on European investment-grade and high-yield credit markets. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Hull and an M.A. from the University of Warwick, both in the United Kingdom.
